About Art

I use rigid, primed canvas panels, with professional grade acrylics, to complete my paintings. The high viscosity, lightfast, pigment-rich paint that I use retains texture and brushstrokes well, remains vivid and dries to a satin and semi-matte finish — which tends to stand out when displayed. My paintings range in size from 6x6 inches, to 8x10 inches; given that I prefer to use smaller canvases. The tools that I use are a combination of brushes and palette knives. I sign all of my artwork, front and back. Generally it can take me anywhere from several hours to several days, to complete a painting. Drying time varies, from 24 hrs to 72 hours.

I frame my art without glass, using various frames that are available to me. These versatile frames allow artwork to be displayed on walls and flat surfaces. All paintings are ready to display, straight out of their boxes and arrive with a signed certificate of authenticity.

I scan and photograph my art, to capture the true quality and detail, or very close to it. Scanned images highlight the texture of my brushstrokes and deeper hues present within my paintings, that cameras are often unable to capture. The resolution of scanned images is also higher than that of a photo. Occasionally actual colors shown within my paintings may vary slightly from your screen, due to screen or monitor settings and devices possibly displaying colors differently.
